NOVA Walks are back!
Come and find out more about tiles, an Arabic heritage that became one of the most prestigious and effective elements in the artistic decoration of interiors in Portugal from the 16th century onwards.
In the 19th and early 20th centuries, Lisbon underwent a major urban renewal plan aimed at expanding the city, paving the way for new aesthetics and, in particular, new approaches to the use of tiles.
On this tour, we will simultaneously observe the novelty of urban solutions and the versatility of new applications of tiles in architecture.
