WORKS4U is organizing on May 30 at NOVA School of Science and Technology, from 2 pm to 5.30 pm, another workshop for all the members of the academic community. This time the topic in discussion is "Bridging Academia & Industry in Chemistry and Life Sciences".
With this workshop, WORKS4U aims to promote a dialogue and discuss the gap that exists in Portugal between Academia and Industry, focusing on the Chemical and Biopharmaceutical Sectors, covering specific research areas in Chemistry and Life Sciences. The objectives are to discuss the needs of these Sectors and how the research developed in Academia can meet with Industry for innovation and translation of research, technological development, training of human resources and highly qualified scientific employment .
