NOVA is among the best universities in the world in 16 areas of study evaluated by QS World University Rankings by Subject 2017, leading at national level in the areas of Accounting and Finance, Management, History, Linguistics and Performing Arts.
NOVA has doubled the number of areas listed in this year’s ranking (from 8 to 16) compared to the previous edition. This result confirms an increased improvement at international level since the first edition of the ranking.
Published annually since 2011, QS World University Rankings by Subject ranks universities in a variety of areas, based on 4 criteria: academic reputation, number of citations per publication, employers' reputation and H-index.
