Universidade NOVA de Lisboa won the prize for "Best Methodology" in the first edition of "Santander NEO’s Challenge". The "Santander NEO’s Challenge", organized by Banco Santander, is an international university talent contest aimed at selecting the best team to solve a mathematical problem based on real data from the banking business.
In the first edition of this competition, 546 students from 90 universities of 6 different countries have participated. After a few months of competition and several challenges, the finalist teams participated in the final stage of the competition, that took place at Banco Santander headquarters (Boadilla del Monte, Madrid).
