NOVA at the European Student Assembly

The third edition of the meeting was held in Strasbourg from the 10th to the 12th of April. A student from NOVA Information Management School (NOVA IMS) represented the University.

The European Student Assembly is an annual project that brings together over 230 students from various European university alliances to discuss current issues, develop policy recommendations for the future of Europe, and advocate for them among stakeholders and decision-makers.

As a flagship project of the European university community, this assembly is entirely created, executed, and composed of students and staff from various higher education institutions.

It aims to represent the views of students from diverse countries, backgrounds, fields, and academic levels, while also strengthening collaboration among them to increase the visibility of the initiative.

In particular, involve citizens in deliberative processes to reduce the gap between them and decision-makers. Ultimately, the goal is to increase their involvement in European democratic processes.
