For three days, NOVA and its partners from the network of young European research universities debate the best way to encourage the growth of talent
 

The project was developed within the framework of the Universities Portugal consortium.

A very important meeting to promote scientific exchange and collaboration between the two universities 

Celebrating its 50th anniversary, the NOVA University of Lisbon awards Gilberto Gil the title of Doctor Honoris Causa for his invaluable contribution to culture and citizenship.

NOVA will award the title of Doctor Honoris Causa to the Brazilian musician and composer Gilberto Gil on 31 October. The award comes on the occasion of the university's 50th anniversary and recognises Gilberto Gil's extraordinary contribution to international culture and the legacy he has left behind over several decades. 

The recent ceremony also celebrated the approval of the extension of existing degrees in Lisbon to the NOVA Cairo campus. 

The Sports Merit Scholarship Award Ceremony for NOVA students will be held on the 20th of September at 5 p.m. at the Rectory of NOVA University Lisbon.
