Professora Elvira Fortunato distinguished as one of the most influential women in Portugal by the 3rd consecutive time

The portuguese website for professional women, Executiva, distinguished the Vice-Rector of NOVA once again for her impact in the portuguese society.

One week after receiving the second Advanced Grant from the European Research Council in the maximum amount of 3,5 million euros, Elvira Fortunato, Vice-Rector of NOVA and Professor at NOVA School of Sciences and Technology, was distinguished by the website Executiva as one of the most influential women in Portugal. In the total of the three editions of these Prizes, which distinguish women with impact in the portuguese society in several areas, Professor Elvira Fotunato has always been awarded as a recognition of her important contribute to the development of Science at a national and interlational levels. 

The ceremony of the third edition of the Prizes "The most influential womem in Portugal" took place on April 12, at Palácio Foz in Lisbon, and had the presence of the portuguese Secretary of State for Citizenship and Equality, Rosa Monteiro. At the ceremony, it was also launched the digital magazine Executiva n.º 4, which includes the study and profile of the distinguished women.
