NOVA organizes an annual event, NOVA Quality Day, in which the central theme is Quality and NOVA's continuous improvement of Quality, aiming at involving the entire academic community, while being open to the public.
The second edition of NOVA Quality Day took place on February 22, 2022, having as theme “Quality and Digital at the Service of Teaching”, involving the following initiatives:
- Plenary Session I – “Distance Learning (EaD): Quality fundamentals and dimensions”, Professor Diogo Casa Nova, Vice-Rector Universidade Aberta.
- Plenary Session II – “Criteria for evaluating quality in EaD Programs”, Professor João Queiroz, Executive member of the Agência De Avaliação E Acreditação Do Ensino Superior (A3ES).
