However, the impact of research is not always clearly communicated or easily understood by the general public.
Join the webinar to understand how NOVA is changing the way the impact of scientific results is communicated. Learn about the "Research Impact Narratives Challenge", a pioneering initiative developed by the Directorate of Research and Innovation Support of the Rectory (DAII), which in 2023 challenged university researchers to write narratives, accessible to the public, highlighting the impact of their scientific projects in society. A project that received an honourable mention in the recent ADN Awards - Acting Differently at NOVA.
In this webinar, we will share more details about the project, from its conception to its achievements, and discuss the importance of this type of narrative for the dissemination of scientific knowledge and the design of the recently launched second edition of the initiative. We will talk about this innovative approach that aims to promote scientific literacy, improve science communication and value research beyond the academic context.
