NOVA's Day 2019 - Commemorative Ceremony

NOVA University Lisbon celebrates this year its 46th birthday and, just as in previous years, it will celebrate the date with a ceremony at the Rectorate on October 23, at 5:00 p.m.

The Nobel prize in Physiology or Medicine 2001, Sir Paul Nurse, is the guest speaker for NOVA Day 2019 - and will give a lecture on Science as a revolution. 

Geneticist who works on what controls the division and shape of cells, Professor of Microbiology at the University of Oxford, President of Rockefeller University New York and President of the Royal Society.

The ceremony will also have the usual delivery of insignias to the doctorates by NOVA in the last year.
