Healthcare City organizes on October 12, at the Rectorate of NOVA, the Health Innovation 2018, an event dedicated to innovation in the health sector, where companies, investors and startups get together to debate the main challenges of healthcare. Simultaneously, startups will present their projects to specialists and investors in the sector.
The event has, as main speakers, several figures related to the health sector, namely the European Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation, Carlos Moedas; the Rector of NOVA, Professor João Sàágua; the Senior Director of EMEA Network New Ventures & Transactions at Johnson & Johnson, London, Anthony Gemmell; the Vice-Rector of NOVA for the area of Health, Professor José Fragata; the CEO of Lusíadas, Vasco A. Pereira; the CEO of Luz Saúde, Isabel Vaz; and the CEO of José de Mello Saúde, Salvador de Mello.
