Celebrating its 50th anniversary, NOVA University of Lisbon is awarding Gilberto Gil the title of Doctor Honoris Causa for his invaluable contribution to culture and citizenship.
In the days leading up to and following the ceremony scheduled for October 31, the cycle Brasil na Nova - in honor of Gilberto Gil presents a series of concerts and initiatives designed to echo Gil's work and reflect on it and its reverberations from the University as a space for questioning.
To close the tribute, on November 9th, at 7pm, we present the second concert by the Metropolitana Soloists, entitled "Trompetes do Brasil".
