NOVA University Lisbon will host MICROBIOTEC’21 between the 23-26 November 2021.
This biannual event has been co-organized since 2005 by the Portuguese Society of Microbiology and the Portuguese Society of Biotechnology. Due to restrictions imposed in Portugal due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Organizing Committee and the Societies decided to promote MICROBIOTEC’21 in a virtual online format.
In its 9th edition, the joint congress of the Portuguese Society of Microbiology and the Portuguese Society of Biotechnology, aims once more to create a forum of discussion and platform of collaboration of national and international researchers and relevant stakeholders in areas as diverse as:
The scientific program will consist of plenary lectures, keynote lectures, oral communications and poster presentations selected from submitted abstracts.
Debate, exchange of ideas and information and networking will be keywords of this 4-afternoons event focused on the frontiers and new challenges of biotechnology and microbiology research.
