Due to the national mourning for the victims of the fires in Pedrógão Grande, the Honoris Causa Doctorate ceremony of the President of Colombia, Juan Manuel Santos, scheduled for June 20 at the Rectory of the Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, was canceled.
The Universidade NOVA de Lisboa deeply regrets the irreparable loss of human lives and expresses its solidarity with the families of the victims of this tragedy.
