NOVA University of Lisbon regrets to inform that Professor Mário Nascimento Ferreira has passed away. Former Vice-Rector of NOVA between 1990 and 1992 and 1999 and 2002, he also held the position of Director of NOVA Medical School from 1986 to 1990. He was also the last Portuguese Rector of Universidade de Macau.
Universidade NOVA de Lisboa is mourning this loss and presents the most heartfelt condolences to the professor's family, friends, and colleagues.
