The visit of the External Evaluation Committee of the Higher Education Assessment and Accreditation Agency (A3ES) to NOVA, as part of the Institutional Assessment process, took place from 7 to 9 November, in a very collaborative and participative environment, between the facilities of the Rectory and those of the NOVA Medical School.
It was an exceptional opportunity to share the path taken by NOVA, to look to the future, and also to take advantage of the opportunity to receive feedback from national and international experts. A total of 15 meetings were held with 151 participants, including the highest authorities, directors of the organic units, presidents of the educational and scientific councils, representatives of the research and knowledge transfer units, teachers and researchers, students, technical staff, administration and management, alumni and external stakeholders.
The final decision of the A3ES Board of Directors will allow NOVA to identify opportunities for improvement and make informed decisions to improve practices and processes continuously.
