NOVA is participating in the SQUARE project final conference in Tbilisi, Georgia, from December, 11th and 12th. NOVA was represented by Isabel Nunes, Vice-Rector for Strategic Planning and Quality Monitoring, and Helena Serra, Director of CICS.NOVA, and Sara Recharte, from the International Relations department. Addressing the 3rd Mission in Universities: Local to Global is the title of the conference held by Ilia State University.
Isabel Nunes offered an overview of NOVA's 3rd mission assessment with the presentation Making SDGs Visible in Quality Assessment, following up on previous mentoring and the Training and Job Shadowing “Management of Social 3M activities" organized by NOVA in 2022.
Helena Serra was in charge of the keynote session Knowledge Transfer in Social Sciences within the Scope of 3rd Mission, where CICS.NOVA strategy was depicted, complementing the CICS.NOVA workshop on social impact research projects in Lisbon.
Beyond the project members, the conference counted with the Georgian Deputy Minister of Education and Science and representatives from the European Delegation, World Bank, and US Embassy in Tbilisi.
