NOVA University Lisbon participated in the official kick-off event of ULEAD4ALL, which took place in Amsterdam on October 25-26, and was represented by Prof. Isabel Nunes, Vice Rector responsible for the coordination of the Strategic Plan and Quality Management, and Frederico Cavazzini, Advisor of the Rector.
ULEAD4ALL is an Erasmus+ funded project coordinated by the University Industry Innovation Network (UIIN), in partnership with Advancis Business Solutions, Trinity College Dublin, Ca´ Foscari University of Venice and NOVA University Lisbon.
It aims to enable more inclusive leaderships in Higher Education Institutions by providing aspiring university leaders from underrepresented groups with better tools to reach senior positions, thus fostering greater diversity in HE leadership in terms gender identity, ethnicity, socio-economic background, sexual orientation, (dis)ability and more. The project also aims to target current leaders to ignite the required cultural change at their institutions, as they will play an essential role in supporting the next generation of leaders and should do so also with an Equity, Diversity and Inclusion lens.
