NOVA partners with Fundação Amélia de Mello to promote projects of sustainability in health

For the second year in a row, NOVA University Lisbon partners with Fundação Amélia de Mello (FAM) in awarding the Alfredo da Silva Research Prize, to distinguish and support scientific research projects in the area of ​​sustainability in health.

The Alfredo da Silva Research Prize in the field of “Sustainability in Health” is scientifically curated by NOVA, through the NOVAhealth Interdisciplinary Platform, and is aimed at researchers at Universities and Polytechnic Institutes in the country, covering various areas such as social, economic or  environmental sustainability, or any area of ​​fundamental sciences that impacts on Sustainability in Health.

The best project will be awarded a research grant worth €25,000, awarded by the FAM.

The application period for the Alfredo da Silva Research Awards will take place between January 31, 2022 and May 16, 2022. The winning projects will be announced at a public ceremony this year, on June 30.
