A very special mission of NOVA University Lisbon to the University of Cape Verde (UNICV) begins this Monday, 18, and runs until Friday, 22.
This is an important moment of transnational university diplomacy which, it is hoped, will allow strengthening the bilateral ties between both countries in matters related to Higher Education Institutions - hence, a series of working meetings and visits to the following local units are planned: Faculty of Science and Technology, School of Business and Governance and Faculty of Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts, with the renewal of collaboration between UNICV and FCT NOVA, IHMT and NMS.
It should be recalled that an inter-institutional Erasmus+ agreement is still in force until 2023, under the International Credit Mobility Project, to promote the mobility of teaching and non-teaching staff, as well as students to NOVA (in study areas offered by the Institute of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine) and to the University of Cape Verde (in the case of the master's in public health).
According to SCIVal - a platform that analyses the production linked to Scopus, the international database of scientific production - the collaboration between NOVA and Cape Verde in the last 10 years accounts for a total of 20 publications.
