Officials from the University of São Paulo - and speakers at the 1st NOVA/USP Knowledge and Exchange Conference, dedicated to sustainability - met with the directors of FCT NOVA, Nova SBE, NOVA FCSH, NOVA Medical School, Nova School of Law, NOVA IMS and ITQB NOVA.
"I don't know if this is the largest delegation ever at USP, but it is certainly the largest since I was director, pro-rector and rector of the university. I have never seen a group with such a desire to build a partnership with NOVA and Portugal," said Carlos Carlotti Junior, Rector of the University of São Paulo, during the opening session of the meeting, referring to the delegation of more than 30 people who came to visit the facilities of nine NOVA schools on the 6th of September.
In addition to the USP rectorate team and the speakers from the 1st Joint Conference of the two institutions (held at NOVA on 7 and 8 September), the visit included meetings with the directors of 7 NOVA schools and their counterparts at USP.
