It was in 2019 that NOVA joined this European consortium, in the scope of an H2020 project under the theme of "gender equality", and the efforts made since then culminated in the unanimous approval of the Gender Equality Plan at NOVA, in October 2021.

Funded by the European Union, the project is coordinated by the University of Southern Denmark together with eight European universities and aims to develop institutional changes in order to increase women's participation in Research and Innovation, and also to improve their career perspectives. The project's final conference will take place in Denmark on March 1.
