Universidade NOVA de Lisboa leads U-Multirank 2016, in Portugal, with top scores in 13 indicators evaluated in category A ("Very Good") by this global ranking, prepared and funded by th European Commission.
Top scores include: research publications, external research income, interdisciplinary publications, post-doc positions, income from private sources, spin-offs, publications cited in patents, income from continuous professional development, student mobility, international academic staff, international joint publications, master graduates working in the region and regional joint publications.
These results acknowledge the efforts developed by NOVA as an institution with internationally competitive research and teaching excellence, able to ensure high levels of professional success to its students.
U-Multirank compares more than 1300 universities, in 90 countries, developing an innovative and multi-dimensional approach facilitated by an interactive web tool taking into account different aspects and dimensions of the performance of universities: teaching and learning, research, knowledge transfer, international orientation and regional engagement.
