António Jacinto, Group Leader from the Tissue Morphogenesis and Repair Lab, of Chronic Diseases Research Centre of NOVA Medical School/ Faculdade de Ciências Médicas, was recently awarded a Proof of Concept from the European Research Council (ERC).
"Proof of Concept" is a funding scheme open to researchers who have already been awarded an ERC grant. Proof of Concept aims to support ERC grantees magnify their research by funding work which was not scheduled to be funded by the original ERC research grant. The purpose is to explore the innovation potential of the research or help commercialisation of the results of the ERC-funded research.
