On the fiftieth anniversary of 25 April, we remember the historical landmark found in NOVA: the starting point of the Batalhão de Caçadores 5. It was from here that, in the early hours of 1974, the march to Rádio Clube Português began, where the first democratic message was broadcast.
We honour this place and this historic moment, which the NOVA University Lisbon preserves, reaffirming our commitment to the values of freedom and democracy.
