Professor Elvira Fortunato, of NOVA's Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, was distinguished by Romanian Materials Science Crystal Growth Society (ROMs-CGS) as an Honorary Member, for her outstanding and remarkable international activity in promoting the materials science.
The Romanian Materials Science Crystal Growth Society is a non-profit association that joins professionals in the field of materials science, namely in the field of crystal growth and characterization. ROMs-CGS gathers specialists from research institutes, universities, industry and students in the final stages of their qualification in the previously mentioned fields.
