Universidade NOVA de Lisboa is one of the top 100 universities under 50 years old, according to the ranking of the Times Higher Education (THE).
THE 100 Under 50 ranking evaluates indicators such as the quality of teaching, research and innovation, adapting the methodology used in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings in order to reflect the special characteristics of younger institutions. This achievement recognizes the work of Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, as an institution with internationally competitive research and teaching excellence.
In addition to Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, the ranking includes two more Portuguese institutions: Universidade de Aveiro and Universidade do Minho.
