The environment and its consequences on human health. On October 14th, NOVAsaúde organized the 2nd International Conference on the subject "Respiratory Disease and Environmental Health".
Gathering specialists from NOVA Medical School, NOVA School of Science and Technology, ITQB NOVA, NOVA School of Social Sciences and Humanities and NOVA National School of Public Health, the Key-note speaker was Josep Antó from Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
The conference ended with a public debate on environmental health and impact on respiratory diseases and human health: policies, practices and consequences.
The theme was discussed from a biological, social and political point of view, within the United Nations Sustainable Development goals, by non-governmental organizations, governmental associations of the environment, sustainable development and other stakeholders.
