The Professor and Vice-Rector of NOVA University Lisbon, Elvira Fortunato, is one of five nominated for the female leadership category by the Best Public Leaders 2020 awards. Catarina Furtado, Paula Amorim, Cristina Ferreira and Leonor Beleza are the other nominees. The purpose of these awards is to identify and distinguish public figures of reference in the most varied areas of activity: artistic, digital, communication and marketing, sports, politics, women, youth, organizational and social.
The initiative joins Tema Central, QMetrics and NOVA Information Management School (NOVA IMS), which has certified the assessment methodology used in Best Team Leaders (BTL).
