The NOVA Institute for Medical Systems Biology (NIMSB) has just launched its website online. The online platform consists of various sections, including research, education, recruitment, and news dissemination, among others.
"The new NIMSB website will allow us to reach even further in the dissemination of science, attracting more visibility to our institute", explained researcher António Jacinto, responsible for the project.
NIMSB is a research centre in the field of precision medicine aiming to apply innovative biomedical and digital technologies, such as machine learning algorithms and other forms of artificial intelligence, to the development of health solutions.
"NIMSB will empower our country in the use of new technologies such as artificial intelligence applied to biomedicine and emerging multi-omics methodologies, which allow the analysis of each cell in the body with unprecedented resolution", added António Jacinto.
This research centre is a partnership between NOVA University Lisbon and the Max Delbrück Center (MDC), supported by the European Commission and the Portuguese Government.
