The President of the Constitutional Court, Prof Doctor José João Abrantes, will attend the ceremony as godfather and speaker.

Short presentation of the laureate
António Monteiro Fernandes, visiting professor at NOVA School of Law, has dedicated a large part of his life to research and teaching in the field of labour law and related subjects, having taught in several public and private universities.
In the field of teaching, António has published more than a hundred articles in national and foreign journals, as well as numerous books, including a well-known handbook on labour law, now in its 20th edition.
Part of his professional career has been devoted to managerial positions in human resources in large companies, including ANA, the manager of Portuguese airports. In this context, he acquired extensive experience in collective bargaining processes.
