On the 15th of November, NOVA Doctoral School will celebrate its 10th anniversary and invite the whole community to be present. At 16:30 in the Rectory Auditorium, the history of the NOVA Doctoral School since its creation will be recalled through first-hand accounts.

NOVA Doctoral School was created in 2013, offering transversal training courses to complement the doctoral programmes. In these 10 years, NOVA Doctoral School has offered 14 courses and more than 260 editions to doctoral students.
The NOVA Doctoral School was born from the desire and the need to contribute to the excellence of doctoral training at NOVA. The result of these 10 years is more than 4700 participants with a 96% satisfaction rate.
The offer is varied and covers the most diverse areas, such as Design Thinking, Healthy Writing Retreat, Research Ethics, Project Management, Information Literacy, Research Data Management or the 4 immersive days at the Convento da Arrábida on the Development Course of Academic Skills.
We believe that the recognition of the Nova Escola Doctoral, in its axis of activity, could make the NOVA Doctoral School a national and international reference.
