NOVA University Lisbon was present at the meeting of the Group of Portuguese Universities in European Alliances, that happened this Thursday 29th at the University of Beira Interior.
Different panels, throughout the day, discussed topics as diverse as the central actions of the Erasmus+ programme and the synergies for internationalisation, the funding of European universities, the role of legal entities in these alliances and the strategies to promote the mobility of students and non-teaching staff were discussed. Finally, the Secretary of State for Higher Education, Pedro Nuno Teixeira, presented his thoughts on the importance of European universities for Portugal.
In addition to NOVA, which is part of the EUTOPIA alliance, representatives of UNITE! (University of Lisbon), FILMEU (Lusophone University), ECIUn+ (University of Aveiro), ARQUS II (University of Minho), EUGLOH 2.0 (University of Porto), SEA-EU (University of Algarve), EU GREEN (University of Évora) and E3UDRES2 (Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal).
