NOVA University Lisbon received the award for Best University in the Mobility in Higher Education category, by the National Agency Erasmus+ Education and Training, at the Erasmus+ Gala.
The event, which took place on Tuesday 9 April, recognised the most outstanding Erasmus+ projects in the field of education and training, youth and sport in higher education in Portugal.
Concerning the award received by NOVA, represented at the event by Arlete Meneses from the International Relations Department, it has already been recognised that it is the result of the collective commitment of the international mobility management teams, both from within all NOVA academic units and from the partner institutions.
The Erasmus programme, which has indelibly marked life at NOVA and in higher education worldwide, has been in existence for more than 35 years and is already considered one of the most remarkable success stories in the European Union.
