NOVA at the workshop and consortium meeting of the Square Project in Tbilisi, Georgia

From 9th to 11th October NOVA participated in the workshop and consortium meeting of the SQUARE project at the partner institution Tbilisi State Medical University in Tbilisi, Georgia.

SQUARE is a capacity-building project whose main objective is to help Georgian universities improve their excellence and relevance within the framework of the third pillar of the Lisbon Strategy. NOVA, as a partner university of the consortium, has been monitoring the development of Georgian universities through mentoring and sharing good practices.

As part of WP4 - Development and Implementation of the 3rd Mission activities, led by NOVA, the workshop took place on the 9th and 10th of October at the Tbilisi State Medical University.

Representing NOVA mentors were Arlete Meneses, Head of the International Relations Department of the Rectorate, and Rui Pedro Julião, Deputy Director for Innovation, Value Creation and Development of NOVA FCSH Campuses. In this workshop, the Georgian partners presented their pilot activities and NOVA representatives presented their mentoring process and shared recommendations with their mentees.

The workshop was followed by a consortium meeting on 11 October, where the different partner universities discussed the status of the project.

In November, NOVA will welcome the Georgian partners to a meeting where they will present the results of the implementation of their pilot projects to the NOVA mentors.
