Pro-Rector of NOVA is one of the "17 Faces of Action" at the United Nations Exhibition  

Júlia Seixas is one of the Portuguese chosen to represent the action in favor of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals in the exhibition at the National Library until August 18.

The project, entitled "17 Faces of Action", is part of a joint exhibition by 17 countries, each of which has identified the women they believe represent the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).  

In the case of Portugal, the faces chosen include personalities such as Maria de Lurdes Pintassilgo (SDG Eradicate Poverty), Ana Jorge (SDG Health and Quality), Natália Correia (SDG Gender Equality), Manuela Eanes (SDG Reduce Inequalities), Helena Roseta (SDG Sustainable Cities and Communities), among others.  

Júlia Seixas, Pro-Rector of NOVA University Lisbon who coordinates the area of sustainability and the Platform  NOVA 4The Globe, has been selected to represent SDG 13 - Climate Action.  

The exhibition, which is open to the public at the National Library until 18 August, is a joint initiative of the Office of the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation and the Permanent Mission of Portugal to the United Nations in Geneva, where it will later be exhibited.
