After serving a five-year term, between 2019 and 2023, Filomeno Fortes re-applied for the position of Director of IHMT-NOVA, having been the candidate with the most votes during the election period. The professor with a doctorate will serve for another four years (2024-2027).
The inauguration was attended by the Rector of NOVA University of Lisbon, João Sàágua, the directors of the organic units, members of the IHMT-NOVA management, teachers, researchers, students, former professionals of the Institute, consuls, and members of several embassies.
