FCSH/NOVA Article widespread worldwide

Sara Silva, researcher of NOVA's Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas, is co-author of the article "Comparative phylogenetic analyses uncover the ancient roots of Indo-European folktales", published in the Royal Society Open Science. This article is an interesting piece of research which found that fairy tales are far older than we thought. Stories such as "Beauty and the Beast" dates back to the Bronze Age.

Since it was published on the 20th of January 2016, the research had a considerable media coverage in several newspapers and radio programmes, such as The Washington Post, The Guardian, Sky News, Science News, Phys.org., Smithsonian, The Telegraph, ABC News, Die Presse, Business Insider, The Times of India, among others.
