The FELLOW-MUNDUS is an Erasmus Mundus Action 2 Strand 1 partnership, which will contribute through the exchange of students and academic staff to the reinforcement of sustainable educational, cultural, economic, scientific and technological links between the European Union and Latin-American countries.

The project aims: to strengthen the cooperation between European and Latin American HEIs; to develop individuals’ curricula; to transfer the know-how and best practices; to build up a university exchange scheme in Latin American HEIs, following the principles of the Bologna Accord and the guidelines of the Erasmus Programme.
The project is coordinated by Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (Portugal), co-coordinated by Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina ( Brazil) and includes other 15 Universities from Europe and Latin America - Universidade do Algarve (Portugal), Universidad de Sevilla (Spain), Universidad de Salamanca (Spain), Wroclaw University of Technology (Poland), Warsaw University (Poland), Universidad Mayor de San Simon (Bolivia), Universidad Andina Simon Bolivar (Ecuador), Universidad Nacional de Itapáa (Paraguay), Universidad del Pacífico (Peru), Universidade Estadual de Ciências da Saáde de Alagoas (Brazil), Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (Brazil), Universidade Tiradentes (Brazil), Universidad de Panama (Panama), Universidad Santo Tomas (Colombia) and Universidad de la Republica (Uruguay).
The program offers mobility scholarships (travel, insurance and tuition fees included) to Undergraduate, Master, Doctorate and Pós-Doctorate students as well as to academics and staff from Latin America to the European universities of the consortium and to Europeans to the Latin American universities of the consortium.
