FCT/NOVA researchers awarded in the 2nd Almada Research Prize

NOVA's Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia research work was awarded in the 2nd Almada Research Prize, where the team led by Silvana Munzi won in the category of science and technology with the project "Ecological Bioindicators in the Urban Environment: A new methodological approach applied to the city of Almada". The research work includes the participation of Otilia Correia, Cristina Branquinho and Pedro Pine from the "Centre for Ecology, Evolution and Environmental Change" (CE3C) of FCT/NOVA.

This Prizes also highlight, through an honorable mention, the project "Analysis of Structural Resilience in Post Earthquake Scenarios Considering Multiple Exposures", from the researchers Filipe Ribeiro, Luís Neves and André Barbosa of FCT/NOVA.

The Almada Research Prize, sponsored by the Municipality of Almada, aims to distinguish researchers in the areas of Humanities and Scientific -Technological that promotes the city while an educational field.
