Project SQUARE aims to improve the quality and relevance of the 3rd mission of universities in Georgia. Besides mentoring, NOVA's contribution involves sharing good practices  

From 2023 on, NOVA’s programme dedicated to pre-university students is providing new entry possibilities in some top European universities – and considers NOVA’s new campus in Cairo as well 

Taking place at the Miguel Hernandez University in Spain, the conference has the theme "Open Science: a step towards accessible, global and democratic knowledge".

Registrations are already open to attend the meeting of the alliance of European universities of which NOVA is part, to be held next week in Slovenia 

Sofia Guedes Vaz, the director of the degree in environmental engineering at NOVA's Cairo campus, will attend the UN conference dedicated to climate change, in the Egyptian city of Sharm el-Sheikh  

The University was recently distinguished at European level as "Young Entrepreneurial University of the Year".

The Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education announced this Thursday, November 3, at NOVA, in Lisbon, the reinforcement of budget funds for research and social support.

The World's Top 2% Scientists List has just been released by the University of Stanford, USA and includes the impact of scientific work in the last year and also throughout the career, in which NOVA registered an increase of 37.5 per cent.

The joint venture will promote the exchange of teachers, researchers, students and staff of the two institutions, in a partnership that aims to extend to the whole of Latin America

The Board of Deans of this Thursday, October 20th, was highlighted by the investiture of the Pro-rector Prof. Dr Clara Rowland, the Pro-rector Master José Branco, the Director of NOVA School of Law Prof. Dr Margarida Lima Rego and the Administrator of Universidade NOVA de Lisboa Dra. Ana Rita Marante.  

That is the challenge of OPUS - Open Universal Science: reform the assessment of research towards a system that incentivises researchers to practice open science If sharing knowledge is everyone's right, then funding policies must also recognise it
